When you install a managed packaged like VerticalResponse for AppExchange, Salesforce adds an extra seat within your Salesforce org. The License Manager seat provides an easy way to manage the installed application. The License Manager seat does not count towards your purchased Salesforce licenses. Contact Salesforce support if you have further questions on the License Manager.
