What is meant by opt-in verification and why might this be required?

At VerticalResponse we work hard to maintain consistently high email delivery rates for all our customers. An important part of this effort requires that we allow only good quality mailing lists in our system.

One way we do this is by asking customers to verify the source of their email mailing list(s). We may on occasion ask customers to provide details on how the email addresses in a list were acquired and how permission was granted to mail to individuals. Again, our aim is to maintain excellent delivery rates for all of our customers.

Should you receive an opt-in verification request from us please reply to the email with the requested information. We will work as quickly as possible to respond and allow you to re-launch your email message.
