How do I embed a video in my email?

We advise against embedding video directly into an email. Currently, there isn't a reliable way to embed video in an email and ensure that your recipients will see your content. Video requires that JavaScript and/or ActiveX controls be enabled, but most email programs see the code to activate these controls as a security threat, and with good reason. The most common result is that the video will be stripped out of your email upon receipt, but it may also lead the receiving email server to reject the email entirely.  A better approach would be to place a screen shot of the video as an image in your email and insert a link to website that will play the video. This will give the appearance of an embedded video, and give your readers the most seamless experience possible.
