What are the capabilities of the different email editors?

VerticalResponse provides four different email editors to help customers create email messages. When working with any of these for the first time we recommend clicking the Watch a Demo link found within the main email creation window for each editor. A quick summation of each email editor follows.

• Email Wizard - The Wizard is a template driven email editor with a simple drag-and-drop interface helping to guide you in the creation of your email.
• Email Canvas - The Canvas editor is a flexible WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML Editor. Using this editor you start with a blank canvas in which you can work to create your email as you see fit. You have direct access to the source code and working with either our templates or your own HTML you have a great deal of control over your email layout.
• Freeform HTML - Using the Freeform editor you simply copy and paste your own HTML directly into your new email. You are able to utilize merge fields and the other basic features present in the Canvas and the Wizard editors but the Freeform removes the WYSIWYG and drag-and-drop interface options for those who prefer to work directly in the source code or with their own content.
• Text Only - The Text editor allows you to create simple, text-only emails without images, text formatting or other HTML embellishments.
