How to Set Up a Custom Mail Domain
Send email from your own domain in just a few steps.
Step 1: Open Custom Mail Domain
Go to Custom Mail Domain under Default Email Settings and click:
Setup Custom Domain
Step 2: Enter Your Domain
Enter your domain name (example: yourdomain.com) and click Setup Custom Domain.
If the domain is available, you’ll see a confirmation message.
Tip: Enter only your root domain (example: yourdomain.com). Do not include http:// or www.
Step 3: Add the DNS Records
After submission, you’ll see the Custom Mail Domain Configuration screen.
Your status will show: Pending Verification
Add the DNS records shown on this page to your domain provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Google Domains, etc.).
Add This CNAME Record
Copy the Host/Name and Value/Target exactly as shown into your DNS provider.
Add This DMARC (TXT) Record
If you’re unsure how to add DNS records, contact your domain provider’s support team.
Step 4: Wait for Verification
After updating your DNS records:
- DNS changes may take 24–48 hours
- We automatically check your DNS every hour
- No further action is required
Step 5: Confirmation
Once verified, your domain will no longer show Pending Verification.
You can now send email using your custom domain.
After Verification
We recommend updating your:
- From Email Address
- Reply-To Email Address
To use your new domain.
