Why does the "Viewed" statistic on surveys differ from page to page?

The page view numbers vary because there is a difference between how page views and completions are recorded. 

The chart on the live survey page "How Far They Got"  is the number of total views. So even if someone clicks on a page, but doesn't answer any questions, they will get credit for making it to that page. 

The number on the survey reporting view "Survey Statistics" converts attempts to completions, letting you know how many people answered the questions on those pages.
