"VerticalResponse" missing in the upper right (force.com) dropdown menu

If you don't see the VerticalResponse app in the force.come menu, have your Salesforce Administrator check your profile and app permissions with the following steps: 
Go to the person's profile page under Setup | Personal Information | My Personal Information | Profile Name (third row, right column) Scroll down to Custom App Settings and ensure VerticalResponse is visible
Make sure VR has been deployed. Go to "Setup | App Setup | View Installed Packages" click on VR 3.0, the "Deploy" button should be grayed out, if not click it to Deploy
