What is CAPTCHA?

CAPTCHA stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. The purpose of CAPTCHA is to make it difficult for automated spam bots to submit online web forms. For a detailed explanation, take a look at the CAPTCHA Wikipedia Entry. Our Opt-in Form Wizard allows you to enable CAPTCHA verification for any of your own forms. This is not a necessity, but if you’ve encountered problems with spammers using automated tools to submit fake addresses at your site before it could be worth turning on.
