Responsive Email Templates

Responsive design is something you may have heard of, and you could even be looking for email templates that are responsive. What are they exactly? A responsive email template will adjust or resize based on the size of the screen displaying it. This means your email will look good if you send it to someone using a desktop, tablet or a mobile phone. Our templates are all made to respond to the window displaying them, so you just need to pick the template you like. 

We've even built this into your account and you can see how your email will look on different devices on the Preview page.

First, click the Preview button at the top of your email to see these special views.



At the top right you'll see three icons for desktop, mobile, and tablet.

Desktop monitor - This is the default view when you get to the preview page.  You'll see how your email will look on a desktop monitor.

Mobile phone - The next icon is for a mobile phone, click on it and you'll see how your email will look on a mobile phone, and if you click the arrows under the icon, you can see how it looks flipped in the other direction.

Tablet - The last icon is for a tablet user, and just like the phone icon you can see how your email looks on a tablet and you can flip that view as well.

These displays give you an idea of how the email will look, but of course it could be different based on the email program that receives the email.
