How do I insert an image into an email?

You can insert an image from your VerticalResponse Library, from your computer, or from another website.

To insert an image into your email from your computer:

  1. Open your email draft and place your cursor where you want to insert the image
  2. Click on the image icon located in the toolbar at the top of your email
  3. Click on From Your Computer
  4. Click on the Browse button and locate the image you want to insert
  5. Click once on the image and the click the Open button
  6. Click the Upload Image button

To insert an image into your email from your VerticalResponse Library:

  1. Open your email draft and place your cursor where you want to insert the image
  2. Click on the image icon located in the toolbar at the top of your email
  3. Click on From Your Library
  4. Locate the image you want to select and click on the image itself (not the image name)
  5. The Display Properties box will appear, click on the drop-down menu under the Alignment field and make a selection to align your image. You also have the option to add Alt Text. To add padding around your image, enter a value in the spacing boxes (horizontal and vertical)
  6. Click Save Image


To Insert an image from another website:

  1. Open your email draft and place your cursor where you want to insert the image
  2. Click on the image icon located in the toolbar at the top of your email
  3. Click on From another website
  4. Type or paste the URL of the image into the text box
  5. Click OK

Once you're done with these steps, the Display Properties box will appear. Click on the drop-down menu under the Alignment field and choose how to align and wrap your text around the image. To add padding around your image enter a value in the spacing boxes (horizontal and vertical). You also have the option to add Alt Text. When you're done, click Save Image.
